Gobardanga

Gobardanga is a small town in North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. It is about 60 km north-east of Kolkata and 38 km from Bhatpara.

Janapul (6 km to the west), Gaighata and Bagchara (to the north), Barasat (8 km) and Swarupnagar (12 km) to the east and Rudrapur (13 km to the south) are the nearby places.

SriSri Prabhu Jagadbandhu Ashram and temples of Jai Chandi are two interesting spots in the neighborhood.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the nearest airport. Barasat Railway Station serves Gobardanga.
