Cotton Pygmy Goose (Nettapus coromandelianus) is a small duck with a short bill, rounded head and short legs.
The bird mainly feeds on water lilies, seeds and other vegetation. Nest is usually constructed in tree holes and 8 to 15 eggs are laid. During flight, the male display its characteristic green wings with a white band.
In India, Cotton Pygmy Goose can be seen in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Rajasthan.
