Samardanga

Samardanga is located in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. It is around 18 km north of Siliguri. Nearby towns include Mangpu and Samthar to the north, Shaugaon to the east and Khairani to the south. Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, Madhuban Park, Pedong and Gorubathan are some of the major tourist spots lying around Samardanga. Civil Enclave Bagdogra is the closest airport. The nearest railheads are Siliguri Junction Railway Station and New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
