Pankhabari is a small town in
West Bengal's
Darjeeling District, located 5 km south-west of
Kurseong.
Siliguri, the sub-divisional town of the district, is 23 km to the south-east.
Mirik 12 km to the west and Naksalbari 17 km to the south are the nearby towns.
Makaibari Tea Estate, a sericulture farm and an All India Radio Station on the Pankhabari Road, the shortest route to
Darjeeling, Dow Hill Deer Park and Museum of the Dow Hill Forest School are the attractions in and around the town.
