Mahishkuchi

Mahishkuchi is a small town in Coochbehar District of West Bengal. Tufanganj, a taluk headquarters town of the district, is 13 km south. Siliguri is around 150 km from Mahishkuchi. Other important towns in the neighborhood include Parokata and Chakchoka towards the north and Bhainskuchi towards the south. Baneswar Shiva Temple and Ardhanariswar Temple are some pilgrim spots nearby. Coochbehar Airport serves Mahishkuchi. New Coochbehar Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
