Janmasthan Mandir




Janmasthan Mandir is located at Ekachakra Village in Birbhum District. The temple was erected by Prasannakumara Karapharma. The presiding deity is Lord Nityananda, placed in the main altar. To the right of the deity is the idol of Advaita Acharya. The temple also contains the deities of Radha-Radhakanta and Radha-Srikanta, a large dancing Gauranga, a name by which Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was known, in the center, and ten brass sakhis at the bottom. There is a Nitai Kund and a small white temple nearby.

Ekachakra is connected by roads and rail. The nearest railheads are at Mallarapur rail station (8 mile east) and Rampurhaat rail station (11 mile north).
