The taluk headquarters town of Domkal is situated 35 km east of Berhampore, in Murshidabad District of
West Bengal. To the north-west of Domkal is Islampur. Jalangi, another taluk headquarters town of the district, is 20 km to its east. Muradpur Diar, Sagarpara and Raninagar are the nearby towns.
