Dhatrigram




Dhatrigram lies near the banks of the Hooghly River, in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. The town also forms the boundary with Nadia District. It is situated around 18 km east of Satgachia. Bagnapara is 5 km to the south-west. Samudra Garh in the north and Kalna to the south and Shantipur to the east are other prominent places around.

Dhatrigram is famed for its Jammdani Sarees.

Kalna Raj Bari, Gauranga Bari Temple, Babladihi, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Agrwadip, famous for its Gopinath temple, Bagnapara Vaishnav Center, 109 Shiva Temple and Sri Khanda temple are the familiar pilgrim spots in this region.

The town is served by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Dhatrigram Railway Station.
