Belgharia

Belgharia is a town in North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. It is located 9 km north of Kolkata and 10 km north of Howrah. Some of the important places around the town include Baranagar (to the west), Kamarhati and Muragacha (to the north) and Cossipore (4 km to the south).

Places of tourist interest are Char Bangla Temple and Ramakrishna Math at Cossipore.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport serves Belgharia. Khardah Railway Station, on the Dum Dum – Kalyani line of the metro railways, is the nearest railway station.
