Barkona

Barkona is located in Bankura District of West Bengal, about 10 km north-west of Gangajalghati. Bankura, the district headquarters, is approximately 23 km to its south. Saltora, Pobra and Maliara are the nearby towns.

Susunia Hill, Bishalakshmi Temple, Mukutmanipur and Bishnupur are some points of tourist interest around Barkona.
