Gala Village is situated at an altitude of 2440 m, located 12 km from Sirkha in Pithoragarh District. It lies along the Kailash - Manasarovar route. Kali River flows through the village. Pine and juniper forests surround the village, providing a spectacular, panoramic view of snow clad mountains all around. Base camps are arranged here for trekkers. Nearby attractions include Sirkha, Budhi, Gunji, Kuti and Kalapani.
