Gunji is at an altitude of 3,200 m, located 17 km from Budhi in Pithoragarh District. It lies along the Kailash - Mansarovar route. It is situated at the confluence of the Kali River and Kuti River. It offers a spectacular panoramic view of snow clad mountains all around. Trekking is organized from here to the snow clad peaks, glaciers and forests. Base camps are also arranged. Kuti Valley is accessed from here. Nearby attractions are Kalapani, Budhi, Garbyang and Malpa.
