Tarabganj is one of the four
taluks in
Gonda District. It lies to the south of
Gonda, the district headquarters. The eastern side of the taluk is a minor forest area. The
Ghaghra flows through the southern part of this region.
Varahi Dev and Prash are places of tourist importance.
