Nautanwa

Nautanwa is an important commercial town in Maharajganj District, near to the Nepal border, in Uttar Pradesh. It is located 88 km north of Gorakhpur and about 40 km north of the district headquarters, Maharajganj.

For a break, one can venture to the hills of Nepal; Bhairhawa is the nearest settlement on the Nepali side.

Varanasi Airport and Amausi Airport serves Nautanwa. Nautanwa Railway Station is a terminus station, on the line from Pharenda, of the North Eastern Railways.
