Also called Barkol Negala, Bharkol is a small village in
Agra District. Its location is near the inter-state border between
Rajasthan and
Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters,
Agra is about 36 km from here.
To its west, at about 4 km, is Fatehpur Sikri - a city founded by the great Mughal emperor, Akbar in honor of Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti. Other places nearby are Dura, Kiraoli and Achhnera.
Fatehpur Sikri Railway Station and Agra Civil Enclaves are the nearest railway station and airport.
