Karhar is a minor town in the extreme south-eastern corner of
Farrukhabad District, close to
Hardoi District border. It lies a little east of the
Ganges and to the south of
Fatehgarh, the district headquarters.
The tomb of Major Robertson is a popular landmark in the town.
Kamalganj Railway Station and C A Kanpur Airport are the nearest access points to reach Karhar.
