Azamgarh District. This town, halfway between
Azamgarh and Dohrighat, is about 18 km south of Raunapur and 14 km north of Muhammadabad.
Mubarakpur, about 7 km from here, is a renowned center for exquisite Banaras Sarees. Maharajganj, with its old shrine dedicated to Bhiron Baba, is another place of attraction nearby.
