Gorai is an ancient town in Iglas taluk of Aligarh District. It is about 35 km south of Aligarh, close to Mathura District border. Three mounds of considerable archeological significance, which are now under the purview of the Directorate of Archeology, Uttar Pradesh, constitute the most important attraction in this region.
Aligarh Junction Railway Station and Agra Civil Enclaves are the nearest railway station and airport for Gorai.
