Fatehpur is a taluk headquarters in Bara-Banki District of Uttar Pradesh. It is about 40 km north of Bara-Banki.

Fatehpur is about 48 km from Lucknow and 123 km from Kanpur. Fatehpur Railway Station is on the Sitapur – Mankapur rail route. Amausi Airport is the nearest airport.
