Barokhar




Barokhar is a small town lying at the extreme south of Allahabad District, close to Madhya Pradesh State border. It is around 61 km from Allahabad.

Koldihwa, Mahgara and Chopani Mando are the nearby places of archeological importance. Shankargarh, a remote township famous for its prehistoric cave paintings, can be accessed from here. Drummondganj, a town in Mirzapur District on the National Highway 7, is 23 km east of it.

Manda Road Railway Station and Varanasi Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
