Vembanur

Situated near Nagercoil, Vembanur (also spelt Vempanoor) is a small town in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Aloor is situated in the north, Manavalakurichi in the south-west and Neendakara in the south-east. A freshwater lake is the prime landmark here. Nearby tourist spots include Suchindram Temple, Suchindram Kulam, Sanguthurai Beach, Olakkay Aruvi Waterfalls, Manavalakurichi, Colachel and Kanyakumari.
