Karingal, also spelt Karungal, is a small town near
Nagercoil in
Kanyakumari District,
Tamil Nadu. It spans over an area of about 19 sq km. Keezhkulam is situated in the south-west, Paliyadi in the north-east, Thiruvithamcode in the east and Thikkanamcode in the south-east. Bagavathy Temple is the major landmark.
Karingal lies around six kilometers north-west of
Colachel.

Muttam and Nagercoil are nearby tourist spots.
