Vellore District, at about 13 km south of
Vellore. It is located on the Vellore-
Thiruvannamalai State Highway. Ganadipathy Tulsi's Engineering College is a major landmark.
Vellore Fort, Government Museum and Madarazaye Mohammadiya Masjid are accessible from Kaniyambadi.
Kaniyambadi Railway Station is on the Vellore-Thiruvannamalai rail route. Usur is 12 km west, Vallam is 8 km south and Melvisharam is 19 km north-east. Chennai International Airport is the nearest airport.
