Eechanari or Eachanari is located on the outskirts of
Coimbatore. It is 10 km away from the city center. The place got its importance from the Eechanari Vinayagar Temple where the god is decorated each day as per the asterism of the day. Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir is also situated here. The nearest
railhead and the
airbase are at Coimbatore.
