Adiyamankottai

Adiyamankottai is located in Dharmapuri District of Tamil Nadu. This place is on the National Highway 7 between Dharmapuri and Omalur. Dharmapuri is 7 km north and Salem is 48 km south.

The place once served as the capital of Adhiyamans, ancient rulers of Dharmapuri. Ruins of an oval shaped fort are seen here. Kamadhenu College of Arts and Science is a landmark.
