Sikar District is situated in the north-eastern part of
Rajasthan. It is surrounded by
Jhunjhunu District in the north,
Churu District in the north-west,
Nagaur District in the south-west, and
Jaipur District in the south-east. Sikar has a total area of 7,700 sq km.
Rajasthani and
Hindi are the main languages spoken. The total population is around 2 million.
The average rainfall is 46 cm. Best time to visit is from October to March.
