Taraj is a pretty village in
Jhalawar District of
Rajasthan and is located about 20 km north-west of
Aklera.
Dak-Bungalow, a noted game-preserve of the former Kota rulers, is the major point of attraction in Taraj. An ancient township on the banks of Parwan River and Kakuni constitute interesting excursions outside Taraj.
Taraj Village is 20 km off the National Highway 12.
