Rama is a town in Jaisalmer District, which lies 13 km to the south of Sirwa, 17 km to the west of Vinjorai and 24 km to the east of Kotri.
Towards the north of Rama town lies the district headquarters, Jaisalmer, which holds some of the major historic sites and beautiful havelis. The tourist spot and Jain pilgrimage center Lodurva, famous for its exquisitely built temples of yellow stone and the ruins of an ancient township, is accessible from Rama.
Jaisalmer Fort, Tazia Tower, Sonar Quila, Gadi Sagar Tank and Gadsisar Lake are some of the places worth mentioning.
