Mokhatra, also spelt Mukhatra, is in Jalore District of Rajasthan. The nearest town is Sewara, 4 km to the south. Some of the other nearby towns are Karwara, Hariyali and Jakhri. Eighteen kilometers to the east is Raniwara.
Bhinmal, an ancient town, can be easily accessed from Mokhatra. Shri Bhinmal Teerth is a Jain temple of archeological importance.
