Kakuni is a small town located in the
Baran District of
Rajasthan. Located on the banks of Parvan River, this old township is dotted with ancient temples. Kakuni is situated 65 km north-east of Jhalawar.
Major tourist attractions include a huge idol of Lord Ganesh and a
Shivlinga dating back to the 8th century. The remains of Bhimgarh Fort, built by Raja Bhim Deo, which lies on the other side of the Parvan River, are worth visiting.
Nearest airport is at Jaipur about 335 km from Jhalawar.
