Biramsar

Biramsar is situated about 11 km to the north of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. This desert town lies in the district of Jaisalmer, near the India-Pakistan border. The nearest towns are Kathori (11 km) to the north and Bhadasar (15 km) to the west.

Some of the other towns situated in close proximity to Biramsar are Dewa, Hamira and Kanod.

The prime places of tourist interest are Jaisalmer Fort, Sonar Quila, Gadsisar Lake and Tazia Tower.
