Balan

Balan, also called Bahla, is in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan. It is around 25 km to the west of Bharewala. Some of the other towns which surround Balan are Ghantiali, Sarkari Tala and Digah.

The international border of India and Pakistan lies only a few kilometers to the north of Balan. Jaisalmer, the district headquarters, is further to the south of this desert town.
