Aqilwala

Aqilwala is a town situated near the international border of India and Pakistan in the desert state of Rajasthan, in Jaisalmer District. It is also near the district’s border with Bikaner District. The nearest towns are Bharewala and Jaluwala, located within a distance of 12 km. The towns - Rukanwala, Bijnot and Chinnu are easily accessible from here. The prime places of tourist interest are Patwon-ki-Haveli, Jaisalmer Fort, Gadsisar Lake, Tazia Tower and Sonar Quila. Jaisalmer Airport and Jaisalmer Railway Station serve Aqilwala.
