Giddar

Giddar is a small town in Jalandhar District and is situated on the banks of Sutluj. It is located near the district's border with Kapurthala District and is about 50 km north-east of Zira.

Arya Samaj Mandir, Harike Wildlife Sanctuary, the Moorish Mosque at Kapurthala and the historic towns of Nurmahal and Nakodar are within easy access from Giddar.

Nearest international airport is at Amritsar. Giddar Pindi Railway Station serves Giddar.
