Remuna is a small town, located 10 km from
Baleswar and 60 km from
Baripada in Orissa. The name Remuna is derived from the word Ramaniya, which means very beautiful. This place is noted for its
Kshira Chora Gopinath Temple. Other attractions include the Samadhi of Madhavendra Puri, the Samadhi of Rasikananda Prabhu, Shiva temple, Jagannatha temple and a few other temples. The town is also famous for its brass works.
The nearest railway junction is at Baleswar. There are buses which ply from Baleswar to Remuna. Chandipur which lies close to Remuna has one of the best beaches in Orissa.
