Narhema

Nerhema is a historical town in Kohima District of Nagaland and is 13 km north of Kohima. It is located at an altitude of 3,595 ft above sea level, on the National Highway 39.

Nerhema, also spelled Narhema, was associated with the Japanese invasion in 1944. Itanki National Park, Puliebadze Wildlife Sanctuary and Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary are the prime attractions in the neighborhood.

Nearest access points are Dimapur Airport and Dimapur Railway Station.
