Dasave lies on the banks of the Muthu River, about 18 km north-west of Welhe, in Pune District. It is 12 km south-west of Paud and around 20 km north-west of Toma. Bavla is south, while Mulshi is towards the north.
Mulshi Lake and Khadakwasla Lake are two popular picnic spots near Dasave. Shivaji Fort at Sinhgad and Panshet Dam are other tourist places within easy access from Dasave.
