Mohol is an industrial town situated on National Highway 9 and is 34 km north-west of Solapur in Maharashtra.

Pandharpur is a famous pilgrim center nearby. Tuljapur and Solapur constitute interesting excursions outside Mohol.

Nearest airport is at Pune. Mohol Railway Station is on the Solapur-Daund railway line.
