Lamjan is a small town situated midway between Latur and Umarga, in Latur District. Latur and Umarga are 32 km north and south respectively while Ahmedpur is 50 km north-east.
Tuljapur, Naldurg Fort, the Siddheswar Temple, the temples of Ramlingeswar, Bhuteswar and Keshavraj and the Darga of Surat Shahvalli at Latur, and the Bidar Fort, Solah Khamba Masjid and Bahamani Tombs at Bidar are some tourist sites around.
