Chikhli is a small desert town situated in the southernmost part of Dungarpur District in Rajasthan. Its nearest town is Khedapad. Galiyakot is a village of religious importance at 11 km to the south-east of Chikhli.
Every year Galiyakot holds the festival of Urs, which is an important occasion.
Some of the other nearby towns are Kodaria (18 km) to the north and Peit (21 km) to the west.
