Waidhan is the headquarters of
Singrauli Municipal Corporation, in
Sidhi District. It lies near
Uttar Pradesh-
Madhya Pradesh border, about 20 km west of
Amlia.
Waidhan houses a major private residential region and a marketplace catering to the surrounding areas. In addition, various government offices function here. Govind Vallabh Pant Sagar Lake and Mara caves are the tourist spots nearby.
