Vidhyanagar

Vidhyanagar is 5 km east of Waidhan, in Sidhi District of Madhya Pradesh. It lies near the Uttar Pradesh-Madhya Pradesh border, about 20 km from Singrauli and 80 km north-east of Sidhi - the district headquarters.

The Vindhyachal Super Power Thermal Project of National Thermal Power Corporation is here. It is the largest thermal power station in India. Gobind Ballabh Pant Sagar Dam is the major landmark.
