Khara

Khara is a small town in Shivpuri District of Madhya Pradesh. It is located 14 km west of Kolaras and 20 km south-west of Shivpuri.

Kuno Wildlife Sanctuary, Madhav National Park, Sakhya Sagar Boat Club, Sidheshwar Temple and Son Chiryiya Bird Sanctuary are the major tourist interests in the vicinity.

Kota Airport and Gwalior Airport serve Khara. By road, Khara is directly connected with Kota, Shivpuri and Baran. National Highway 76 has its route through Khara.
