Bhitarwar

Bhitarwar is a taluk headquarters town in Gwalior District of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated towards the southern parts of district and is about 47 km from Gwalior and 15 km from Pawaya. Jhansi is 65 km north-east.

Ghatigaon Wildlife Sanctuary and Harsi Reservoir constitute interesting excursions outside the town.

Gwalior Airport and Gwalior Railway Station serve Bhitarwar.
