Kozhummal Makeel Mundiyakavu is an ancient
kavu located at
Kozhummal village in
Kannur District of
Kerala. Kozhummal is about 3 km from
Karivellur.
Managed by the Thiyya community, the kavu is renowned for its Kaliyattam festival held in the month of February. A variety of cultural programs and kazchas, wonderful processions, are the main highlights of this festival. Every year Poorakali is also arranged here.
