Kodumon is 16 km from Pathanamthitta town, the headquarters of
Pathanamthitta District. The prime attraction is the Kodumon Chilanthiyambalam. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi. Kodumon is also the birthplace of Sree Sakthi Bhadra, author of the well-known Sanskrit play, Ascharya Chudamani. St Bahanas Orthodox Church is another place of interest.
