Kendghata

Kendghata is a small town located on the border of Dumka District with Jamtara District. Prominent places in the neighbouhood include Thari Sonarai, Jarmundi, Kumrabad and Kairabani. By direct road, Kendghata is connected to Dumka (nearly 25 km north-east), the district headquarters, via Masalia. Jasidih Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Gaya Airport and Patna Airport serve this region.
