Rasool is a scenic village located to the south-west of
Dooru in
Anantnag District. It lies within a short distance from Phrumbu.
The Jhelum flows through this place. Rasool also has its importance of having been a comfortable base for the trekkers and mountaineers. The trekking to Inshan and Chhatroo starts from here. Verinag Spring, Vitasta Temple and Uma Nagri Temple are some of the nearby places of tourist importance.
By road, Rasool can be easily accessed as it lies on the way to Daksum from Khanabal. The nearest railhead is Udhampur Railway Station.
