Tangar

Tangar is a town located in Udahmpur District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of 4,301 ft above sea level and is about 30 km from Udhampur. Tangar is linked with the nearby towns, Gul (12 km west), Sumbar (9 km north), Batli (6 km east) and Gainta (20 km south).

Kud and Sudh Mahadev Temple are within a short distance from Tangar.

By road, Tangar can be reached from Narsu and Jammu, which is at a distance of 60 km. The convenient railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station and the airport is Jammu Airport.
