Khaniyar

Khaniyar lies near Khanam Chowk in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is just a kilometer from the district headquarters – Srinagar. Khaniyar is flanked by Fateh Kadal in the west and Kanipur in the east. The northern and southern parts are bounded by Rainawadi and Moniawar respectively.

Zaina Kadal bridge, situated across the Jhelum River, is to the west of Khaniyar. Ali Kadal is a short distance away from here. Pather Masjid, Anchar Lake and Sindh Nallah, Zadibal Imambara, Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Gardens, Dal and Nagin are the other nearby places of tourist importance.

Udhampur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
